Falcons Youth Girls Team Nominations

The West Perth Football District are looking to once again enter a strong and competetive team into the annual WAFC Youth Girls Carnival. This District representative team will be comprised of both female students who competed in the WAFC School Girls Cup in 2011 or previous years and also Joondalup Falcons Women's Football Club representatives who fit the nomination criteria.
In 2010, the West Perth District were represented by an enthusiastic team of girls who had a great passion for football including many who furthered their football careers by making the transition from either Junior Club Football or School Girls Football to play in the WAWFL (West Australian Women's Football League). Futher to this, 6 players from this squad continued on to represent their state at the State School Championships, currently being held in Canberra where the girls are undefeated and will now wait to verse arch rivals Victoria on Saturday to take out the Championship.
2011's Carnival will be held over the weekend of the 13th and 14th of August at Coolbinia Reserve, Coolbinia. The West Perth team will be competing on Sunday the 14th of August with games commencing at 10:00am.
We encourage all girls aged between 13-17 (Players must be 17 or under as at the 1st January 2011) to fill out the attached nomination form and return it to Development Officer- Megan O'Mara by no later than Thursday 11th August. Please note that previous football experience is not neccesary for participation.
